Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Detektyw Pikachu (ranked 3565 p4p, 397 weight class) and Australian RooMan (ranked 6389 p4p, 553 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Australian RooMan!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pikachu misses with a takedown
letting RooMan counter with a right hand.
It looks like Detektyw Pikachu has been cut.
RooMan pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Pikachu back to the cage. RooMan follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
RooMan has Pikachu up against the cage in a clinch.
Pikachu ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Pikachu no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
RooMan being controlled here momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
RooMan wants to stand but Pikachu is controlling his posture from full guard.
Pikachu seems keen to control RooMan's posture.
Pikachu definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
That's one minute gone in the round.
RooMan wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Pikachu's closed guard. He's half up but Pikachu has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Pikachu pivots and extends the arm, RooMan falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Pikachu! Well done that man!
