Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dave Arias (ranked 23991 p4p, 607 weight class) and Tazawa Matsu (ranked 3193 p4p, 371 weight class). Arias comes to the cage accompanied by Its my life. Matsu comes into a darkened arena with his song building. TrippyThaKid - LEEDLE LEEDLE LEE kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Dave Arias has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dave Arias! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tazawa Matsu! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksandr Martynov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matsu staying out of range there. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Arias looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Matsu blocks a jab. Matsu fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Matsu fails to land the takedown. Matsu slips a jab and a cross from Arias.
Matsu closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Matsu gets control of Arias's arms and successfully pulls guard. Matsu will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Matsu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Arias will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Matsu is on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arias has momentary wrist control but Matsu slips an elbow through the middle. Matsu throwing strikes but missing. Matsu must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Arias lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Arias is fighting to break Matsu's control of his arms but Matsu is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Matsu looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Matsu manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Arias manages to get himself to full guard.

Matsu trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Matsu in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Arias avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Matsu throws a big right hand that misses. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Matsu won't allow Arias to sweep him here. That's three minutes gone in the round. Matsu throws a big right hand that misses. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Matsu is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Matsu chips away with some ground and pound. Matsu working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Matsu loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Matsu throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Arias works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Arias slaps away a takedown attempt from Matsu, before circling back to the center of the mat. Dave Arias has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tazawa Matsu. Matsu looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Matsu throwing strikes but missing. That's four minutes gone in the round. Matsu postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Arias utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Matsu missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Matsu working some strikes from top position. Matsu is in close to Arias's body, working some short punches and elbows. Tazawa Matsu dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Matsu clinches up with Arias and pushes him back against the cage. Arias has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Arias struggles to land a body shot inside as Matsu controls his hands.
Matsu gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Matsu trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Matsu landing some decent shots from guard.
Arias is rocked! Matsu connects with a couple of short punches. Oh Arias is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Matsu lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Matsu throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Matsu's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Matsu loads up on a big left hand. Arias felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Matsu looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Arias can't hide his disappointment, as Matsu celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tazawa Matsu! During a confident post fight interview, Tazawa Matsu thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him. Dave Arias was interviewed post fight and said 'When theres winning theres also loosing . tonight i loss but this is not the end its just a new beginning that means i have to learn more. And come back to win again.'.
