Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jasper Ghost (ranked 3279 p4p, 347 weight class) and Daniel Parker (ranked 24792 p4p, 565 weight class). Daniel Parker will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ghost counters with a shoot takedown. Parker fights it but they end up in guard.
Parker looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ghost is one step ahead there.
Ghost drops back looking for a leg! Parker is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Parker manages to kick Ghost off! Ghost jumps back into Parker's guard.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Ghost drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ghost jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ghost drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Parker manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ghost has Parker in his guard.
Ghost is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Parker rolls with it to try and escape but Ghost cranks on the arm and Parker is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

In his post fight interview, Jasper Ghost started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
