Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Page (ranked 6742 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lenny King (ranked 24842 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Michael Page has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Michael Page! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lenny King! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King clinches with his opponent.
King pushes off an throws an elbow but Page leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. King escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A chopping leg kick lands by King. Page tries to clinch and King decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Page's guard. Page trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Page looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Page is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Endgame Combat that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. King controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King landing some decent shots from guard. King landing with the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Page thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. King stands up from Page's guard - King perhaps looking for a knockout. Page tries to clinch but King moves out of range. Page looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? King is fending him off so far but Page persists. Nope, King circles away and we're back to standing. King takes a jab right on the kisser.
King uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Page. King shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Page's guard. Page looking for a guillotine here but King defends easily.
King lands a couple of elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Page tries to strike from the bottom.
King is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. King chips away with some ground and pound. King stands up from guard. Let's bang! King fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Page sprawls well initially but King persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Page wants to control but King is keeping busy.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. King is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Page is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Lenny King! Lenny King decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
