Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Krakers Smudak (ranked 4645 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Delaney (ranked 2446 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Krakers Smudak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dan Delaney! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Delaney clinches. Delaney's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Smudak looks for a takedown but Delaney sprawls well. Delaney lunges at Smudak with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Smudak's hand. Smudak takes a shot right to the bread basket. Delaney scores with a nice head shot. Delaney lands with a shot to the body. Smudak shoots in and bounces Delaney off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Delaney looking to hit a scissor sweep but Smudak is one step ahead there. Smudak throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Delaney works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smudak with a flurry of punches that miss. Smudak landing with the ground and pound. Smudak is looking to work some ground and pound but Delaney has wrist control. Smudak throwing strikes from guard but Delaney blocks nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Smudak is in close to Delaney's body, working some short punches and elbows. Smudak throwing strikes but missing. Delaney looking to hit a scissor sweep but Smudak is one step ahead there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smudak with a nice head shot there. Delaney really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smudak. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Delaney has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Smudak wants to control from the top but Delaney keeps moving. Smudak trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Smudak is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Smudak scoring with some ground and pound. Delaney looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smudak throws a big right hand that misses. Smudak engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Smudak postures up in Delaney's guard and throws a big left but Delaney blocks it. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Smudak with a nice head shot there. Smudak trying to control the position from guard on top but Delaney is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Delaney seems keen to control Smudak's posture. Smudak loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Delaney darts in and clinches Smudak up against the cage. Delaney pushes Smudak back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Delaney lands a nice shot to the body. Smudak's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! A left hand lands to the body for Delaney.
Delaney manages to break the clinch.
Delaney drives through and clinches with Smudak against the cage.
Smudak has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Delaney is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Still in the clinch, Delaney scores with a nice short uppercut. Delaney digs a right hand underneath Smudak's ribcage. Smudak let out a lung full of air as it connected. Smudak is breathing heavily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Delaney scores with a shot to the side of Smudak's head. Delaney lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Delaney lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Smudak is looking to take this one to the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Delaney dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Delaney moves into the clinch. Delaney scores with a nice hook to the head. Delaney digs a right hand underneath Smudak's ribcage. Smudak let out a lung full of air as it connected. A short right hand to the side of the head by Delaney. Delaney lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Smudak drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Delaney prevents the takedown attempt.
Delaney has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A short right from Delaney on the inside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Delaney is working Smudak over against the cage. Delaney manages to break the clinch.
Krakers Smudak is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Delaney gets a clinch. Smudak's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
That's one minute gone in the round. Delaney lands a hook to the side of the head.
Smudak is rocked! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Delaney makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Oh Smudak is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Delaney lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. A right hook to the body lands for Delaney.
A short right from Delaney on the inside. Delaney lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Smudak to his knees! Delaney keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Delaney!
