The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Souza closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Margaritopoulos to the mat! Margaritopoulos manages to get full guard.

Souza is looking to stand up but Margaritopoulos won't let him.

Souza is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Margaritopoulos is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Souza is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Margaritopoulos is just riding it out for now. Souza eventually gives up the hold.
