PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Igor Bogdanov (ranked 6400 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Dryswood (ranked 3240 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bogdanov shoots in but no luck this time.
Dryswood leaves Bogdanov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bogdanov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dryswood avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Igor Bogdanov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Bogdanov. Dryswood shrugs it off though.
Bogdanov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Dryswood feints and as Bogdanov raises his hands in defense, Dryswood changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dryswood lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Dryswood throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bogdanov works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Dryswood has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Dryswood postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Bogdanov covers up, he's hurt! Dryswood keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Dryswood and the ref steps in to end the fight! Dryswood can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
