Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rolando Barry (ranked 24799 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stunna Boy (ranked 4577 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Rolando Barry has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rolando Barry seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rolando Barry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Stunna Boy! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boy gets a double leg takedown into Barry's guard. Boy pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Barry is keeping the position for now. Boy stands and throws Barry's legs to the side, diving into side control. Barry can't do much from the bottom here. Boy looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Boy working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barry is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barry gets back to half guard. Barry knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boy on the ground. Boy passes to side control. Barry is trying to get back to half guard. Boy controls the position from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Boy is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Barry knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Boy throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Boy is trying to get an arm triangle but Barry is defending well. Barry manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boy wants to control but Barry is keeping busy and won't allow it. Boy is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Barry is staying active. Boy moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Boy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Boy is keen to just control but Barry is a slippery customer. Barry could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boy looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Barry is looking to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stunna Boy dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Boy scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Boy tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Boy has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Barry prevents Boy from improving position. Boy has control of an arm but Barry manages to advance to Boy's back! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barry has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Boy. Barry lands with a hammerfist to the side of Boy's head. Boy turns into Barry and is now in his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boy tries to free his leg and advance position but Barry is retaining full guard. Barry has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Boy has passed into side control.
Boy wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Barry, who protects the arm well. Barry is trying to get back to half guard. Boy is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Barry is trying to escape and Boy transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Barry is forced to tap! Nice work there by Boy! Very nice indeed!
