Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Teddy Bear (ranked 1570 p4p, 192 weight class) and Jesse Karhu (ranked 1309 p4p, 156 weight class). Jesse Karhu will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Teddy Bear! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Karhu! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karhu tests Bear's chin there with a solid looking shot. Karhu jabs Bear right on the nose. Bear blinks but takes it well. Bear rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Karhu moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bear throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Karhu cracks Bear with an open hand slap. Bear misses with a jab to the body
and Karhu counters with a three punch combo that has Bear backing up. Bear nods at Karhu to acknowledge the strikes. Karhu misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Bear counters with a left to the body. Karhu throws a combination. Bear tries to block but a couple of punches get through. This has been an exciting period of action! Bear throws a right hand that misses
letting Karhu counter with a right hand. Karhu misses with a straight right. Bear is looking for a counter combo. Bear throws a hook but Karhu avoids it easily. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Karhu! But no joy. Bear loads up on a big right hand but Karhu slips the punch. A big right from Bear misses. Bear gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Karhu. Karhu is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Karhu missing with a left hand there. Bear was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Bear takes a shot to the body in his stride.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bear looks to score with a jab to the body but Karhu is just out of range. Bear misses the body punch and Karhu counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Karhu uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bear.
Bear moves out of range as Karhu strikes. Bear throws a series of punches but Karhu avoids them all with ease. Bear takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Karhu takes a swing at Bear's ribcage but misses. Karhu lands a jab to Bear's midsection. Bear throws a predictable looking body shot
and Karhu counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Karhu throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bear on the side of the head. Karhu lands with a cross. A slow jab from Karhu misses its intended target. Karhu is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bear.
It looks like Jesse Karhu has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Karhu misses with a looping right.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bear scores with a decent looking hook. Karhu misses with a hook. Bear ducked under it nicely. Bear throws a series of punches but Karhu avoids them all with ease. Bear takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. A punch combination from Bear misses. No joy there for Bear, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Bear takes one to the chin there. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Karhu throws a poor cross that misses
and Bear counters with a stiff right hand. Karhu feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bears jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Karhu slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesse Karhu dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jesse Karhu's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Bear jabs Karhu to the body, keeping him at a distance. Bear is looking to wear down Karhu with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Karhu throws a body punch but Bear moves out of range. Karhu has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A looping hook to the body misses from Bear. Karhu does a little dance to reset his feet. Jesse Karhu seems to be getting the better of the standup. Bear uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Karhu.
Bear takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Karhu cracks Bear with a right hand to the side of the head. Bear throws a jab when Karhu was well out of range. Bear uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Karhu. Sloppy strikes from Bear. Those never looked like landing. Bear scores with a nice head shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Karhu slips under a jab from Bear. Bear ducks under a wild hook from Karhu. Bear looks to score with a jab to the body but Karhu is just out of range. Karhu throws out a counter right but Bear avoids it with no problem. Teddy Bear is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Karhu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bear moves away. Nice shot by Karhu.

That has opened up Jesse Karhu's cut even more. Karhu throws a lazy right hand but Bear sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Jesse Karhu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bear missing with a left hand there. Karhu was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Karhu listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Karhu misses with a body punch
and Bear counters with a stiff right hand. Karhu scores with a jab to the body. Karhu throws the left hand but Bear avoids the punch easily. Bear scores with a jab to the body. A jab lands there for Karhu. Karhu misses with a wild combination.
Karhu throws a hook but Bear avoids it easily. Karhu moves out of range of the strikes. Karhu looks like he wants to counter punch here. Bear keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Karhu. Jesse Karhu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Karhu is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Bear with a body shot. Karhu throws a body punch but Bear moves out of range. Karhu misses the shot to the body. Karhu looks to land a right hand but Bear moved out of range. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Bear might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Karhu dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Bear swings widly with a right hand
and Karhu connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The fighters circling - Karhu throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Karhu misses with a wild body shot. Karhu cracks Bear with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesse Karhu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jesse Karhu's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Karhu scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Teddy Bear has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bear throws a big shot that misses. Some wild striking there from Karhu.
Bear walks into a left hand. Nice uppercut lands for Karhu. That snapped Bear's head back.
Karhu avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Karhu scores with a decent looking hook. Bear throws a body shot but no joy. It seemed like Karhu was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Karhu scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Bear takes one on the button. Karhu dips to his left and cracks Bear with an uppercut! Bear shoots in for a takedown but Karhu shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bear looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karhu stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Bear walks into a left hand. Karhu scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bear doesn't seem bothered though. Bear throws a right and a left that Karhu avoids nicely. Karhu throws an overhand right that lands on Bear's shoulder, as Bear tries to avoid the shot. Bear lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Karhu circles away quickly and effectively. Karhu takes one to the side of the head.
Karhu throws a body punch but Bear moves out of range. Bear throws a right hand that Karhu ducks under and follows up with a left that Karhu also avoids with ease. Karhu throws a shot from downtown. Bear moves away and avoids it. Bear is looking for a counter combo. Bear throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Karhu gets caught napping as Bear dives in and scores a takedown. Karhu manages to retain guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bear working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Jesse Karhu is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Karhu can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Karhu is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Karhu prevents Bear from standing back up.

Karhu stalling. Bear wants to control but Karhu is keeping busy and won't allow it.
And that's the end of the fight! Jesse Karhu comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Karhu has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Jesse Karhu! Jesse Karhu seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website. The defeated Teddy Bear had this to say: 'Tonight wasn't my night, but i'll learn and come back stronger.'.
