Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maxim Menshikov (ranked 222 p4p, 35 weight class) and James Pearson (ranked 213 p4p, 34 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Maxim Menshikov has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Maxim Menshikov seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearson throws an overhand right that lands on Menshikov's shoulder, as Menshikov tries to avoid the shot.
Menshikov throws a lazy right hand but Pearson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pearson swings and misses with a hook to the body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
