Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between George Peterson (ranked 18607 p4p, 200 weight class) and Solomon Cook (ranked 3662 p4p, 37 weight class). Solomon Cook has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with George Peterson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Peterson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Solomon Cook! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cook swings for the body but Peterson moves out of range.
Cook sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Peterson throws a nice inside leg kick. Cook slips under a jab from Peterson. Cook keeps the fight on the outside. Peterson throws a leg kick but Cook moved away. Peterson throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Peterson throws a shot from downtown. Cook moves away and avoids it. Cook on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Peterson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cook.
Cook tries to clinch up. Cook misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Peterson misses with a low kick as Cook jumps back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cook takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Peterson avoids the body shot from Cook.
Cook throws a leg kick which misses Peterson's front leg but catches the back leg as Peterson tries to avoid it. A head kick misses from Peterson. Peterson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Cook. Cook circles away out of range and recomposes himself. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cook moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peterson misses the jab. Cook fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Peterson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Peterson has taken the fight to the clinch.

Peterson digs a right hand underneath Cook's ribcage. Cook let out a lung full of air as it connected. Cook blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Peterson lands a right hand. Cook is trying to stall.

Cook scores with a hook to the body. Cook dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the ropes. Peterson lands a body punch. Cook looks winded! Peterson lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Cook or not. Peterson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Cook backwards. Peterson throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Cooks head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A shot in the inside from Peterson. Peterson doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Both fighters working to control the clinch. Cook lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Peterson. Cook tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Peterson misses with a hook to the ribs.

A nice right hand lands inside from Peterson. Cook takes a shot to the head. Cook misses with a short punch on the inside. A right handed body shot lands from Peterson.
Peterson lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Cook or not. Peterson misses with a hook from the clinch. Peterson lands a nice uppercut. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
George Peterson dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A big right from Peterson misses. Cook lands with a cross. Cook blocks a low kick nicely. Cook misses with a looping right. George Peterson is winning the standup battle so far. Peterson fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Peterson looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Peterson moves forwards but Cook connects with a nice, crisp jab. Peterson wants to slow Cook down by chopping away at his legs. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Cook. Cook takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Peterson cracks the inside of Cook's front leg. Peterson wants to land a leg kick but Cook is out of range. Cook connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Peterson momentarily.
Peterson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Solomon Cook has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Peterson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cook looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Cook takes a shot right to the bread basket. Cook closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Cook throws a solid leg kick but Peterson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Cook. Solomon Cook seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cook throws a shot from downtown. Peterson moves away and avoids it. Cook is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peterson fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Peterson lands with a straight right. Cook didn't see that one coming. Peterson attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Cook tries to work over Peterson's front leg with a kick but Peterson checks it. Cook rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Peterson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Good work by Cook as he checks the leg kick. Cook's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Peterson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cook scrambles back to his feet. Peterson lands a leg kick that knocks Cook off balance momentarily. Peterson with a hook. Peterson lands a right and a left and another right! Cook goes down! Oh, he's in big, big trouble! 3,4,5,6,7,8... he's up to one knee... 9,10! He can't beat the count - this one is all over!
