Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sudgon fails with a takedown attempt.
Sudgon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kirk sprawls well. Kirk wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sudgon gets slowly back to his feet.
Sudgon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kirk is fending him off so far but Sudgon persists. Nope, Kirk circles away and we're back to standing.
Kirk seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kirk holds on and takes a little breather.
Kirk utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Sudgon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Kirk has his hands on Sudgon's head, controlling the position.
Kirk is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Sudgon has his hands clasped together but Kirk extends and breaks Sudgon's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Kirk.
