Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darth Beerdrinkus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ Trent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trent is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by kick your ass. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beerdrinkus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Trent dodges the punch combination from Beerdrinkus.
Beerdrinkus stuffs the takedown.
No luck for Trent with that takedown attempt.
Trent shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Beerdrinkus as he avoids it easily.
Darth Beerdrinkus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of BJ Trent.
Trent fails to land the takedown.
Beerdrinkus doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Trent decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Beerdrinkus's guard.
Trent is working Beerdrinkus over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Trent stops Beerdrinkus from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Trent is looking to work some ground and pound but Beerdrinkus has wrist control.

Trent is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Trent wants to clinch up but Beerdrinkus keeps it at a distance.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Trent tries to keep at a distance but Beerdrinkus has taken the fight into the clinch.

Beerdrinkus stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Beerdrinkus shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Trent counters with a nice double leg into side control. Beerdrinkus won't be happy with that.
Beerdrinkus takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Beerdrinkus is trying to get back to half guard.
Trent in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Trent wants to lay and pray for a moment but Beerdrinkus keeps working.
Beerdrinkus is looking for a sweep.
Trent working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Beerdrinkus prevents Trent from improving position.
Beerdrinkus managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Trent.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Trent comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's time! Beerdrinkus's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Beerdrinkus looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Trent looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Trent should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Trent wants to stand but Beerdrinkus has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Trent prevents Beerdrinkus from moving into mount.
Trent tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Beerdrinkus presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Beerdrinkus working for a submission but Trent is keeping him at bay.

Beerdrinkus looking to control but Trent is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Trent bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Trent trying to control but Beerdrinkus is working from the bottom.
Beerdrinkus had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Trent is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Beerdrinkus Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Trent's back instead.
Beerdrinkus has the hooks in. Trent is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Beerdrinkus looking to hold on to the position here but Trent rolls and ends up regaining guard.

Trent gets full guard.
Beerdrinkus is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Trent is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Beerdrinkus is controlling him.

Trent drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Beerdrinkus gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Beerdrinkus keeping moving, preventing Trent from controlling successfully.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Trent postures up in Beerdrinkus's guard and throws a big left but Beerdrinkus blocks it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Trent tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Trent shoots in looking for a takedown. Beerdrinkus tries to sprawl out of it but Trent keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Beerdrinkus manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Darth Beerdrinkus is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Trent counters with a nice double leg into side control. Beerdrinkus won't be happy with that.

Trent decides to stand back up.
A slapping leg kick lands for Trent.
Trent is looking to clinch.
Beerdrinkus takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Beerdrinkus shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Trent as he jumps to the side.
Trent connects with a body shot.
BJ Trent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beerdrinkus fails to land the takedown.
Trent darts in trying to clinch
and Beerdrinkus counters with a single leg into guard. Trent didn't expect that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Beerdrinkus wants to control from the top but Trent keeps moving.

Trent is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Beerdrinkus is controlling him.
Beerdrinkus loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Trent gets the takedown into side control.

Beerdrinkus is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Beerdrinkus tries to bench press Trent off him but Trent keeps the position.
Trent misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Darth Beerdrinkus has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
BJ Trent is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Beerdrinkus throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.

I would just about give that final round to BJ Trent.
I've got Trent winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
