Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Glenn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Nott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Aaron Nott was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Glenn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron Nott! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nott tries to clinch but Glenn is having none of it. Nott is looking to clinch but Glenn is avoiding it.
David Glenn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Glenn lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nott circles away quickly and effectively. Glenn throws a nice looking combination but Nott bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A combination from Glenn does no damage. Glenn misses with a series of wild punches.
Nott checks a low kick from Glenn. Glenn swats away the attempt to clinch by Nott. Glenn throws a right and a left that Nott avoids nicely. Glenn throws a low kick but it's checked well by Nott. Nott tries to clinch up. Glenn paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
It looks like Aaron Nott has been cut. Glenn tries to clinch but fails miserably and Nott counters by moving into the clinch. Nott manages to break the clinch.
Nott avoids a punch combination nicely.
Glenn misses with a jab, cross combination.
Glenn swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Nott counters by clinching up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nott manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nott is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Glenn stops Nott from standing up. Nott tries to land a sweep but no joy. Glenn thows a big elbow that misses. Nott trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Glenn loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Nott keeping full guard, as Glenn tries to pass.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Glenn throws a leg kick and Nott counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Nott. Nott gets control of Glenn's arms and successfully pulls guard. Nott will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Nott throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Nott looks gassed! Nott thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Glenn trying to control but Nott is working from the bottom. Glenn keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Nott's head. Glenn missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Glenn tries to free his leg and advance position but Nott is retaining full guard. Glenn throwing strikes from guard but Nott blocks nicely. Glenn might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Glenn trying to control the position from guard on top but Nott is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Nott controls Glenn momentarily but Glenn frees himself. Glenn in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Glenn wants to control from the top but Nott keeps moving. Nott wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Glenn manages to pass to side control. Glenn throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Nott dodges the punch combination from Glenn.
Glenn keeps the fight on the outside. Nott takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Glenn moves in looking to clinch but Nott pushes him off. Glenn throws out a leg kick but Nott moves out of range and Glenn only half commits. Glenn throws a left that rocks Nott and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Glenn dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Nott regain composure!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Glenn wants to control but Nott is keeping him busy. Glenn decides to take the fight back to the feet. Glenn scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Glenn tries for a takedown but Nott sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Glenn lands with a right that hurts Nott. Nott looks to clinch but Glenn throws a short knee that drops Nott. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). David Glenn!
