Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dave Dobbs (ranked 2421 p4p, 149 weight class) and Dolph Cyrus (ranked 4244 p4p, 212 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dobbs might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dont fear the reaper, Blue oyster cult.. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Dobbs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dolph Cyrus! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Cyrus. Those never looked like landing. Dobbs appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Cyrus darts in and clinches Dobbs up against the cage. Dobbs stalling in the clinch but Cyrus improves position. Cyrus is struggling to control the position. Cyrus lands an uppercut. Dobbs jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cyrus walks away with a smile on his face. Dobbs gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Dobbs looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Cyrus! Dobbs cracks Cyrus with a big elbow. Dobbs thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Cyrus tries to escape but Dobbs is in control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dobbs cracks Cyrus with an elbow. That is naaassty. Cyrus gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dobbs seems to be looking for submissions.
Dobbs is trying to control. Cyrus wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Dobbs winds up and cracks Cyrus with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Dobbs is figuring out what he wants to do next. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cyrus pushes Dobbs off looking to stand but Dobbs dives back in and keeps control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dobbs lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Dobbs trying to control the action but Cyrus is working from the bottom. Dobbs trying to mount his opponent but Cyrus defends it. Dobbs working the head and body with strikes. Dobbs missing with the ground and pound from half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cyrus can do anything to dispel that myth. Cyrus wants to improve his position but Dobbs is controlling well.
Cyrus is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Dobbs scores with a couple of nice shots.
Cyrus is rocked! Cyrus is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Dobbs decides to return to a standing position. Cyrus is still on wobbly legs! Can Dobbs finish him? Dobbs showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cyrus.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dobbs ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Cyrus out cold! The fight is over!
