Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stupid Tattoo Guy (ranked 2197 p4p, 122 weight class) and Luiz Alves (ranked 3112 p4p, 158 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stupid Tattoo Guy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Luiz Alves! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tattoo Guy scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Tattoo Guy lands a glancing blow to the side of Alves's head. Alves avoids a punch combination nicely.
Alves closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tattoo Guy circles away. It looked like Tattoo Guy was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tattoo Guy, as that shot connected.
We've been informed that Alves has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Tattoo Guy throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Alves sees it coming and avoids it easily. Alves changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Alves needs to keep his hands up - Tattoo Guy had a free shot at his head there.
Alves is rocked!
It looks like Luiz Alves has been cut. Alves tries to close the distance and clinch but Tattoo Guy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Alves is still on wobbly legs! Can Tattoo Guy finish him? Tattoo Guy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Alves looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Alves seems to have recovered his senses. Alves shoots in looking for a takedown but Tattoo Guy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Alves's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Alves defending well as Tattoo Guy loads up on a big left hand. Alves fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Tattoo Guy to the ground. Alves is now in Tattoo Guy's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tattoo Guy looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Tattoo Guy throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Alves escapes and throws Tattoo Guy's legs to the side, diving into side control! Tattoo Guy can't do much from the bottom here. Alves is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tattoo Guy is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tattoo Guy is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Alves is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tattoo Guy defends it well. Tattoo Guy keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Alves not landing any meaningful shots this time. Tattoo Guy is looking to control Alves's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Tattoo Guy avoid being mounted? Tattoo Guy looking for submissions off his back. Tattoo Guy is looking for a sweep. Alves is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Tattoo Guy gets back to full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Alves accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Tattoo Guy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Tattoo Guy keeping moving, preventing Alves from controlling successfully. Tattoo Guy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Alves doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Alves manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Tattoo Guy is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Stupid Tattoo Guy dominated that round. The cut man is working on Luiz Alves's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Tattoo Guy connects with a single shot there. Alves looks for a takedown but Tattoo Guy sprawls well. Tattoo Guy lands with an uppercut that bounces Alves off the ropes and back into range. Tattoo Guy misses with a body shot.
Tattoo Guy is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Alves throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tattoo Guy's waist but Tattoo Guy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alves off to one side. Tattoo Guy connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Alves needs to keep his hands up - Tattoo Guy had a free shot at his head there. Alves doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Alves is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tattoo Guy sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Tattoo Guy appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Stupid Tattoo Guy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luiz Alves. Nice shot by Tattoo Guy. Tattoo Guy misses with a two punch combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tattoo Guy thuds his right hand into Alves's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Alves.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tattoo Guy loads up on a big right hand but Alves slips the punch. Alves has a takedown stuffed. Stupid Tattoo Guy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Alves ducks under a wild hook from Tattoo Guy. Tattoo Guy throws a hook but Alves blocks it. Alves dives in and grabs Tattoo Guy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tattoo Guy pushes down on Alves's head and hops out. Alves takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Good exchange - Tattoo Guy coming out on top. Alves wants to clinch. Tattoo Guy is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Tattoo Guy throws a right and a left that both miss. Tattoo Guy throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Alves holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Tattoo Guy tries to work over Alves's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tattoo Guy misses with a short punch on the inside. Alves changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tattoo Guy fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Alves tries to clinch but Tattoo Guy moves out of range. Tattoo Guy swats away the attempt to clinch by Alves. Tattoo Guy smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Alves fails with a takedown attempt. Alves misses with a leg kick and Tattoo Guy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Tattoo Guy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Alves counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tattoo Guy won't be happy with that. Alves working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Tattoo Guy parries the strikes from Alves easily there. Alves is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Tattoo Guy to escape.

Alves shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tattoo Guy's guard. Luiz Alves has got the better of the ground game so far. Alves is looking to work some ground and pound but Tattoo Guy has wrist control. Alves must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Tattoo Guy throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Tattoo Guy seems keen to control Alves's posture. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tattoo Guy is on top in guard.
Tattoo Guy looking to pass the guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tattoo Guy advances to half guard. Tattoo Guy uses his free foot to push down on Alves's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Alves. Tattoo Guy trying to control but Alves is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tattoo Guy with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Alves tries to reverse the position but Tattoo Guy maintains control. Tattoo Guy looking to control but Alves is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Tattoo Guy goes for an armbar but Alves turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Alves. Tattoo Guy throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Alves escapes and throws Tattoo Guy's legs to the side, diving into side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tattoo Guy gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Luiz Alves has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tattoo Guy is defending against the submission attempts here by Alves.
Alves is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tattoo Guy doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Alves. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tattoo Guy slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Luiz Alves. I think Tattoo Guy has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Stupid Tattoo Guy wins by unanimous decision! Stupid Tattoo Guy decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
