Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyle Briggs (ranked 4183 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rolla Fattie (ranked 2890 p4p, 0 weight class). Fattie has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Lyle Briggs has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Briggs throws a lazy right hand but Fattie sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Briggs counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Rolla Fattie has been cut.

and Briggs connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lyle Briggs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rolla Fattie.
Briggs feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Fattie sprawling to the canvas! Fattie rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Briggs finish him?!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fattie takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Fattie looks winded!
Briggs connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Fattie momentarily.
Fattie is rocked!
Briggs ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Fattie out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lyle Briggs!
In his post fight interview, Lyle Briggs gave a big smile as he said 'I will return home, no matter how many bodies i have to destroy.'.
