Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ichi Yakuza (ranked 13654 p4p, 0 weight class) and Some Dude (ranked 3635 p4p, 0 weight class). Yakuza's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Legend of Zelda, Overworld. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yakuza with a poor takedown
and Dude counters with a single leg into guard. Yakuza didn't expect that.
Yakuza looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Dude is stalling in the full guard.
Let's hope that Dude has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Dude pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Yakuza is keeping the position for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dude throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Yakuza works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Dude cracks Yakuza with a solid left hand.
Dude not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Yakuza avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Dude scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Dude connects with a couple of short punches.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dude trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Dude landing with the ground and pound.
Dude is in close to Yakuza's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Dude is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Dude makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Yakuza is rocked!

Dude seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Oh Yakuza is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dude cracks Yakuza with a solid left hand.
Dude scoring with punches to the head and body.
Dude postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Yakuza covers up, he's hurt! Dude keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Dude and the ref steps in to end the fight! Dude can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Some Dude!
