Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Paavo Masala (ranked 1928 p4p, 199 weight class) and Kyle Kristian Galeos (ranked 2602 p4p, 251 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kyle Kristian Galeos!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galeos closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Masala shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Galeos defends it nicely.
Masala dives in and grabs Galeos's left leg, looking for a takedown. Galeos pushes down on Masala's head and hops out.
Galeos scores with a jab to the body.
Galeos comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

A left lands for Galeos.
Masala closes the distance and clinches up with Galeos, looking for a takedown. Masala pushes Galeos against the cage but Galeos circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paavo Masala. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Galeos throws a right and a left that Masala avoids nicely.
Masala drops down looking for a counter takedown but Galeos sprawls and moves away.

Masala goes for a double leg but Galeos avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Galeos continues to drive forward.

Galeos has hold of Masala's hands but Masala slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Masala is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Galeos sees it coming and defends easily.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Galeos can do anything to dispel that myth.
