Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Baxter Garrison (ranked 6748 p4p, 429 weight class) and Brian Gall (ranked 5012 p4p, 371 weight class). Garrison comes to the cage accompanied by Ireland!. Baxter Garrison has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Baxter Garrison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brian Gall! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gall feints and then cracks Garrison's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Garrison down. Garrison throws a sloppy head kick and Gall moves out of range easily. Gall attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Gall is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Gall connects with an inside leg kick. Garrison really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Garrison feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Garrison gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Gall tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Gall connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Gall throws a low kick but it's checked well by Garrison. Garrison appears to be looking for a big counter. Garrison looking for a takedown here - he's got it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Garrison trying to control but Gall is working from the bottom. Garrison sitting in guard here, content to control. Garrison wants to control from the top but Gall keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gall tries to land a sweep but no joy. Garrison got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gall has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Garrison has managed to get both his arms back between Gall's legs - danger averted. Garrison is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Gall is trying to control the position but Garrison postures up. Garrison wants to stand but Gall has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Gall controls Garrison momentarily but Garrison frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gall looking for a sweep. Not yet Gall, not yet. Gall is trying to control the position but Garrison postures up. Gall looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Gall preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Garrison forces his way into half guard. Gall is trying to maintain the position but Garrison is very close to passing his half guard. Garrison stands up out of the half guard. Gall takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Both fighters circling a little - Gall finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Garrison tries a head kick but it misses.
Gall throws a fast counter high kick but Garrison manages to duck under it in time. Gall gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Garrison. Good work by Garrison as he checks the leg kick. Brian Gall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Gall throws a head kick that half lands.
Garrison sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Garrison turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Garrison is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gall's half guard. Garrison is breathing heavily. Gall wants to control but Garrison is keeping busy.
Gall works his way to full guard. Good work. Gall controls Garrison momentarily but Garrison frees himself. Gall throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gall looking to control.
Garrison has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Garrison gets to his feet. Gall looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Gall throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Gall lands a nice leg kick that just misses Garrison's sensitive parts. Garrison feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Gall's calf. Gall scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Gall swings away with a leg kick that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Baxter Garrison will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Gall tries to work over Garrison's front leg with a kick but Garrison checks it. Garrison was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Garrison gets a double leg takedown into Gall's guard. Gall keeping moving, preventing Garrison from controlling successfully. Baxter Garrison overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Gall manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Garrison manages to get himself to full guard.
Garrison is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Garrison knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gall on the ground. Garrison looking to sweep here. No luck so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gall wants to control from the top but Garrison keeps moving. Gall is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gall pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Garrison is keeping the position for now. Garrison looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gall is one step ahead there. Gall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Garrison swivels though and keeps the full guard. Garrison keeping moving, preventing Gall from controlling successfully. Gall wants to pass the guard but Garrison is keeping the position. Gall slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Garrison. Garrison wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Gall in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Garrison tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Gall!
