Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kenneth Wellwood!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood moves out of range of the strikes.
Wellwood scores with a jab to the head.
Wellwood lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Wellwood.
Wood takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
It looks like Ben Wood has been cut.
Wellwood looks to score with a jab to the body but Wood is just out of range.
Wellwood wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Wood swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wood tries to clinch up but Wellwood circles away and keeps his distance.
Wood tries for a takedown but Wellwood sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Wood takes one on the button.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wood fails in his attempt to clinch.
Wood goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Wellwood digs a good hook to Wood's body.
Wood is breathing heavily.
Wellwood looks to score with a jab to the body but Wood is just out of range.
Wellwood listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Kenneth Wellwood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wood walks straight into a right hand from Wellwood - that's dropped him! Wellwood jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Wood from any more punishment! Wood complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Kenneth Wellwood!
