Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Tantalau (ranked 2630 p4p, 335 weight class) and Dropkick Flexy (ranked 2546 p4p, 326 weight class). Flexy is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Big Thing. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tantalau is looking to clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Flexy. No joy for Tantalau on that attempt.
Flexy was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Tantalau loads up on a big right hand but Flexy slips the punch.
Flexy throws a solid leg kick but Tantalau takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Flexy.

Flexy throws a front kick aimed at Tantalau's knee but Tantalau avoids it well.
Good leg kick by Flexy there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Flexy closes the distance and pushes Tantalau back into the cage.
Tantalau is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Flexy to keep the fight standing.

A relieved looking Mike Tantalau thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
