Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Filipovi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Armas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Filipovi comes to the ring accompanied by Engel- Rammstein. Armas has chosen Enter Sandman as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mirko Filipovi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Igor Armas! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Filipovi moves in looking to clinch but Armas pushes him off. Armas has Filipovi up against the ropes in a clinch.
Filipovi throws a knee to the head but misses.
Filipovi jumps guard and drags Armas to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Armas tries to stand but Filipovi is controlling from the bottom. Armas not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Armas trying to stand up but can't free himself from Filipovi's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Armas working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Armas slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Filipovi pulls Armas in close to his closed guard and prevents Armas from doing any damage or advancing position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Armas pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Filipovi is keeping the position for now. Armas looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Armas wants to pass the guard but Filipovi is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Filipovi wants to stand and escape but Armas is having none of it. Filipovi has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Filipovi keeping moving, preventing Armas from controlling successfully.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Filipovi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Armas scores a takedown into full mount! Filipovi is trying to stand. Armas can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Filipovi is looking to escape. Armas wants to get back to his feet but Filipovi is holding on tight.
Armas tries to control but Filipovi wriggling away. Filipovi is trying to get to the ropes to help him get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Armas trying to control but Filipovi is having none of it. Filipovi tries to hold on but Armas pushes him away. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Armas takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Armas is standing up, even though he is in mount. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Armas moves into the clinch. Filipovi breaks from the clinch.

Igor Armas dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Armas closes this distance looking for a takedown but Filipovi circles away. Filipovi misses with a takedown attempt - Armas sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Filipovi moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Armas goes down! Can Filipovi finish him!?
It looks like Igor Armas has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Filipovi wants to get up but he can't break Armas's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Filipovi won't allow Armas to sweep him here. Armas working a defensive guard but Filipovi passes into half guard.

Armas tries to improve position but can't. Armas is trying to work for a sweep but Filipovi has mounted him! Armas is breathing heavily. Filipovi tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Armas is looking to get to half guard. Armas is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Armas is desperately trying to improve his position but Filipovi has a good base and remains in mount. Armas is squirming around, avoiding Filipovi's attempts to control the action. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Armas is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Armas is desperately trying to improve his position but Filipovi has a good base and remains in mount. Armas wants to hold on but Filipovi pushes him away. Armas is trying to escape the mount.
Filipovi avoids the attempt from Armas to control. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Filipovi here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Armas is squirming around, avoiding Filipovi's attempts to control the action.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Armas trying desperately to get to his feet.
Filipovi sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Armas tries to lock up and control but Filipovi gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Armas holds on for dear life. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Armas can do anything to dispel that myth. Filipovi can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Armas is looking to escape. Filipovi sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Filipovi throws a head kick that misses and Armas counters by clinching up. Filipovi comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Filipovi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Filipovi stuffs the takedown attempt from Armas. Armas gets slowly back to his feet. Igor Armas is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Filipovi plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Armas takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Filipovi instigates a clinch. Armas trying to control the position but instead, Filipovi has worked for underhooks and has pushed Armas into the ropes. Filipovi looking for a takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Armas breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Armas tries to clinch and Filipovi counters with a nice kick to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Filipovi lands with a kick to the temple. Armas shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Filipovi tries to clinch but Armas moves out of range. A nice combination there by Filipovi.
Mirko Filipovi is winning the standup battle so far. Filipovi tries to clinch up and Armas counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Filipovi! Filipovi is squirming around, avoiding Armas's attempts to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Armas wants to stand but Filipovi is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Armas trying to control but Filipovi is having none of it. Armas throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Filipovi because Armas loaded up on that one. Filipovi is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Armas is standing up, even though he is in mount. Filipovi wants to clinch up but Armas keeps it at a distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Armas blocks a head kick by Filipovi.
Filipovi avoids the body shot from Armas.
Filipovi's corner calls for a 1-2. Filipovi obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Filipovi lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Armas wants to clinch. Armas misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Filipovi closes the distance and clinches. Filipovi is pressed up against the ropes. Armas has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Filipovi down to the mat. Filipovi avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Mirko Filipovi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Armas. Filipovi bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Armas takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Filipovi wants to clinch up but Armas keeps it at a distance. Filipovi circles away from the clinch attempt and Filipovi holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Mirko Filipovi showed his dominance in that final round. I think Filipovi has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
