Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Filipovi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Armas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Filipovi comes to the ring accompanied by Engel- Rammstein. Armas has chosen Enter Sandman as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filipovi moves in looking to clinch but Armas pushes him off.
Armas has Filipovi up against the ropes in a clinch.
Filipovi throws a knee to the head but misses.
Filipovi jumps guard and drags Armas to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Armas tries to stand but Filipovi is controlling from the bottom.
Armas not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Armas blocks a head kick by Filipovi.

Filipovi's corner calls for a 1-2. Filipovi obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Filipovi lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Armas wants to clinch.
Armas misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Filipovi closes the distance and clinches.
Filipovi is pressed up against the ropes. Armas has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Filipovi down to the mat. Filipovi avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Mirko Filipovi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Armas.
Filipovi bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Armas takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
