1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Urtan Urtanson! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adamson throws a body shot but no joy. Urtanson tries to counter with a clinch but Adamson shakes him off and moves away. Adamson tries to clinch there but Urtanson circles away.

Urtanson steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Adamson. A clash of legs there as Urtanson blocks the low kick. Adamson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Urtanson throws a hook but Adamson blocks it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Adamson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Urtanson is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Adamson is defended easily by Urtanson. Adamson sets himself, and Urtanson steps forward looking for the clinch! Adamson avoids it this time.

Urtanson wants to counter with a clinch but Adamson pushes him away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gerry Adamson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Urtanson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Adamson. Adamson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Urtanson pinned against the cage. Urtanson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Adamson sets himself, and Urtanson steps forward looking for the clinch! Adamson avoids it this time. Urtanson scores with a sloppy right hand. Adamson should have avoided that one. Gerry Adamson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Urtanson scores with a decent looking hook. Excellent takedown into side control there by Adamson. Urtanson tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Adamson presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Urtanson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Adamson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Adamson controlling the position easily from mount. Adamson looking to ground and pound but Urtanson is blocking nicely. Adamson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Adamson content just to control the position here. Adamson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Urtanson tries to hold on but Adamson postures up. Urtanson really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Adamson is working for a guillotine from mount but Urtanson frees his head quite easily.
Adamson is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Urtanson has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Urtanson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. We've been informed that Urtanson has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Adamson looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Adamson wants to stand but Urtanson is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.

Adamson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Urtanson cracks Adamson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Adamson shoots in for a double leg but Urtanson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Urtanson tries to counter with a clinch but Adamson shakes him off and moves away. Adamson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Adamson is trying for a kimura here. Urtanson looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Adamson wins by kimura!
