The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie rushes Mang and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Mang pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mang circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mang tries a low kick but Gracie avoids it.
Gracie attempts a counter takedown but Mang avoids it well and moves away.
Gracie moves out of range as Mang throws a body kick.
Mang throws a leg kick which misses Gracie's front leg but catches the back leg as Gracie tries to avoid it.

Gracie gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Gracie tries to pull guard but Mang forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Mang has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Gracie trying to land knees to the body.
Gracie looking to stall.
Mang wants to break the clinch but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mang breaks the clinch.
That kick from Mang tenderised Gracie's leg. Gracie is trying to keep his angry face on.
Gracie moves out of range of the body kick.
Mang checks a low kick from Gracie.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie wants to clinch.
Mang has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Gracie is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Mang finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Gracie attempts a counter takedown but Mang avoids it well and moves away.
Mang pivots, looking for a leg kick but Gracie is out of range and Mang settles back down.
Mang throws a leg kick that is checked

and Gracie counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Gracie slips nicely into half guard.
Gracie is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Mang!
Gracie won't let Mang get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Gracie wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.

Mang wants to get back to his feet but in bucking up he's left an arm hanging out! Gracie has locked onto it and has pulled off a slick armbar! Mang taps furiously! This one is all over!
