The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Weinstein tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Daniel has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Daniel gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Daniel apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Daniel drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Weinstein really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Daniel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
