Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Boyd (ranked 4593 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fish Hands (ranked 5230 p4p, 402 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Boyd might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Evil villain. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyd takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
No joy there for Boyd, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sloppy strikes from Hands. Those never looked like landing.
Hands dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Boyd slips a jab and a cross from Hands.
Boyd tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Boyd takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A punch lands to the side of Boyd 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Boyd throws a lazy body kick
and Hands counters with a crisp right that sends Boyd to the canvas! Hands follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
