Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Renan Filho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabio Torrezani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filho fails with the takedown.
Torrezani looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Filho tries to clinch up but Torrezani circles away and keeps his distance.
Filho throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Torrezani's waist but Torrezani gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Filho off to one side.
Filho shoots in looking for a takedown. Torrezani tries to sprawl out of it but Filho keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Torrezani manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Renan Filho. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Torrezani gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Filho is trying to maintain a safe position but Torrezani gets an underhook and turns Filho into the cage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Torrezani can do anything to dispel that myth.

Torrezani doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Torrezani lands a good elbow from the bottom.
Filho wanted to stand there but Torrezani had control of the position.

Torrezani is trying to control the position but Filho postures up.

Torrezani closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Filho to the mat! Filho manages to get full guard.
Filho is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Torrezani is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Torrezani decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Filho, up you get!

Filho tries a knee to the head but Torrezani blocks it.

Filho has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Torrezani off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Filho fakes the leg kick and cracks Torrezani in the body.
Torrezani throws a wild body kick that Filho sees coming a mile off.
Torrezani throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Filho tries for a takedown but Torrezani circles away easily

and Torrezani counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Torrezani wants to pass the guard but Filho is keeping the position.

Torrezani prevents Filho from getting back to his feet.

Torrezani drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Filho dives on top into guard.

Torrezani is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Torrezani looking to control but Filho passes into half guard.
Filho tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Torrezani.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Torrezani is trying to stand up here but Filho is controlling him well.

Fabio Torrezani showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Torrezani darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Torrezani is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Filho!
Torrezani tries to control but Filho wriggling away.
Filho is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Torrezani is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Filho can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Torrezani stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Filho is looking to clinch.
Renan Filho is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Torrezani scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Torrezani has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Torrezani thows a body shot but no joy.
Torrezani avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Filho shoots for a takedown but Torrezani saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Torrezani is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Filho could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Torrezani drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Filho dives on top into guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Torrezani is looking to stand back up but Filho counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Torrezani.
Fabio Torrezani has got the better of the ground game so far.
Torrezani tries to roll over but Filho keeps him under control.

Torrezani has one foot on Filho's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Torrezani doesn't manage to clinch there - Filho circles away.
Renan Filho has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Fabio Torrezani is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Filho tries a head kick but it misses.

Well Torrezani has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
