Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shelby clobbers Golovkin with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Shelby fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Golovkin, pushing him back against the cage.
Shelby misses with a body punch.
Golovkin lands a body punch in the clinch.
Golovkin prevents a body shot from Shelby.
Shelby misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Shelby swings wildly with an uppercut but Golovkin uses good head movement to avoid it.
Golovkin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Shelby throws a lazy right hand but Golovkin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Shelby loads up on a big right hand but Golovkin slips the punch.

Shelby throws a hook to the side of Golovkin's head but Golovkin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Tommy Shelby seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Golovkin throws out a powerful jab.
Shelby is rocked!
Shelby walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Shelby limp body while Golovkin jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vadim Golovkin!
After winning the bout, Vadim Golovkin thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
