Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pierre St. Georges (ranked 113 p4p, 17 weight class) and Brak Maug�n (ranked 200 p4p, 28 weight class). St. Georges comes to the cage accompanied by Jiu Jitsu. Maug�n has chosen Save Yourself as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maug�n ducks under a wild hook from St. Georges.
It seemed like Maug�n was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
St. Georges avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A counter left hand to the body from St. Georges misses its target.
Maug�n looks to score with a jab to the body but St. Georges is just out of range.
Maug�n scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
St. Georges throws the left hand but Maug�n avoids the punch easily.
Maug�n lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A bone on bone clash there as St. Georges blocks the leg kick.
We've been informed that Maug�n has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Maug�n fakes a jab and throws a low kick but St. Georges checks it well.

St. Georges drops Maug�n with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Maug�n! St. Georges dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
