Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sasha Beliy (ranked 425 p4p, 55 weight class) and Kongchai Phetboonme (ranked 174 p4p, 23 weight class). Phetboonme is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: "Iron Man". Kongchai Phetboonme has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Sasha Beliy's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phetboonme connects with a looping right hand.
Beliy cracks Phetboonme with a good jab.
Beliy on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Phetboonme swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
We've been told by Beliy's head coaches at Rickys House that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Beliy lands a nice shot to the body.
Phetboonme gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Beliy counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Phetboonme misses with a hook.
Beliy takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Phetboonme has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Phetboonme throws a lazy right hand but Beliy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Phetboonme, right into the meat.
Phetboonme tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Beliy was well out of range. Poor timing from Phetboonme.
Good leg kick by Beliy there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Phetboonme turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Beliy tries a head kick but it misses.
Beliy fails to land with a series of punches.
Beliy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Phetboonme misses with a shot to the body
and Beliy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Phetboonme moves into range and connects with a jab.
It looks like Sasha Beliy has been cut.

Phetboonme on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Beliy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Phetboonme slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Beliy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Phetboonme manages to avoid it.
Beliy has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Phetboonme.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Beliy sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Beliy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Phetboonme.
Beliy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Phetboonme connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kongchai Phetboonme seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Phetboonme jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Phetboonme lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Beliy misses the shot to the body.
Phetboonme swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Beliy blocks the body kick.

Beliy sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Phetboonme lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Phetboonme drops his hands momentarily and Beliy takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Jab, jab by Phetboonme - just one landing.
Oh Beliy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Beliy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Phetboonme was well out of range. Poor timing from Beliy.
Beliy lands with a shot to the body.
BOOM! Phetboonme lands a beautiful left hook that drops Beliy. Beliy tries to recover but Phetboonme is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Beliy lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kongchai Phetboonme!
Kongchai Phetboonme decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
