Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Amanda Nunes (ranked 160 p4p, 20 weight class) and Wulfgar Beornegar (ranked 2436 p4p, 259 weight class). Amanda Nunes has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Amanda Nunes! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wulfgar Beornegar! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Bruno Lombardi and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nunes throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Beornegar wants to clinch and Nunes counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Wulfgar Beornegar has been cut. Beornegar walks into a left hand. Nunes misses with a straight right. Beornegar drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Nunes defends it well. Beornegar shoots and misses and Nunes counters with a nice uppercut. Wulfgar Beornegar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A big right from Beornegar misses. Beornegar's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Beornegar duly obliges. Nunes avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nunes throws a leg kick which misses Beornegar's front leg but catches the back leg as Beornegar tries to avoid it. Beornegar scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Nunes connects with an inside leg kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Beornegar tries to clinch there but Nunes circles away.
Nunes fires out a quick counter leg kick but Beornegar just manages to avoid it. Beornegar tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Beornegar misses with a wild combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beornegar scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Nunes makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Nunes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Beornegar trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Beornegar working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Beornegar throwing strikes but missing. Nunes keeping full guard, as Beornegar tries to pass. Nunes trying to control the position here. Beornegar tries to free his leg and advance position but Nunes is retaining full guard. Beornegar controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Beornegar makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nunes controlling Beornegar's posture. Nunes has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Beornegar wants to control from the top but Nunes keeps moving. Beornegar in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Nunes wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Beornegar is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beornegar clinches up with Nunes and pushes him back against the cage. Beornegar wants a takedown.
Beornegar lands a takedown into guard.
Beornegar content to stall in guard here. Beornegar trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Beornegar wants to control from the top but Nunes keeps moving. Nunes controls Beornegar momentarily but Beornegar frees himself. Nunes preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Beornegar being controlled here momentarily. Beornegar trying to control but Nunes is working from the bottom. Nunes wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Beornegar scores with a takedown into Nunes's guard. Beornegar with a flurry of punches that miss. Beornegar has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Nunes is adopting a defensive guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Beornegar postures up and lands a big shot to Nunes's brow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wulfgar Beornegar dominated that round. The cut man is working on Wulfgar Beornegar's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Nunes throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Beornegar is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Beornegar shoots for a double leg takedown but Nunes sprawls well. He's pushed Beornegar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Beornegar takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Beornegar misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nunes.
Beornegar throws a head kick that misses and Nunes counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Nunes.
Nunes lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Beornegar closes the distance looking to clinch and Nunes counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Beornegar fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nunes cracks Beornegar with an open hand slap. Beornegar tries to clinch and Nunes makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Beornegar is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Nunes looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beornegar with a poor takedown and Nunes counters with a thumping low kick. Amanda Nunes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wulfgar Beornegar. Beornegar tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Beornegar on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Nunes lands a lovely overhand right. Nunes steps in with a hook that catches Beornegar right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Nunes follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Beornegar looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Amanda Nunes! Amanda Nunes retains his heavyweight title! Amanda Nunes spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
