Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Skillz Kneeland (ranked 1655 p4p, 207 weight class) and Manalili Meesang (ranked 2179 p4p, 249 weight class). Meesang comes into a darkened arena with his song building. BJJ Blue Belt June 6th, 2019 kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meesang misses with a low kick.
Kneeland uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Meesang.
Meesang throws an off balance right hand
and Kneeland connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A big left from Meesang misses.
Kneeland clobbers Meesang with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Meesang misses with a body kick.
Kneeland swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Meesang displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

It looks like Skillz Kneeland has been cut.
Kneeland shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Meesang throws the left hand but Kneeland avoids the punch easily.

Kneeland throws a right and a left that both miss.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Meesang! But no joy.
Meesang throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Kneeland is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Kneeland throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Meesang scores with a counter punch that sends Kneeland to the canvas! Meesang smells blood - he's punishing Kneeland with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Kneeland has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
