Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Irong Kasamsun!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Den Berg throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Kasamsun counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Kasamsun has managed to clinch.
A short uppercut from Kasamsun.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kasamsun creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Kasamsun lands a right hand.
Kasamsun keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Van Den Berg's efforts to push away.

Van Den Berg is trying to break the clinch but Kasamsun is controlling him.

Kasamsun has Van Den Berg pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kasamsun pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Van Den Berg tumbling to the mat - Kasamsun dives into Van Den Berg's guard.
Kasamsun is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Kasamsun stops Van Den Berg from getting back to his feet.

Kasamsun takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Kasamsun working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Kasamsun is taking a breather. Van Den Berg says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Van Den Berg has hold of Kasamsun's hands but Kasamsun slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Kasamsun seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kasamsun connects with a nice short shot to Van Den Berg's temple.

Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Kasamsun lands a big elbow - Van Den Berg is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Kasamsun!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Irong Kasamsun!
An out of breath Irong Kasamsun thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
