Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Valen Dreth (ranked 1508 p4p, 164 weight class) and Lemony Snicket (ranked 1951 p4p, 201 weight class). Dreth's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Night Witches - Sabaton. Valen Dreth could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Lemony Snicket's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Valen Dreth!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lemony Snicket!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snicket bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Snicket takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dreth. Snicket does a little dance to reset his feet.
Snicket ducks under a wild hook from Dreth.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Snicket! But no joy.
Dreth bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Snicket checks a leg kick.
Snicket takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Snicket swinging wildly here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dreth keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Snicket.
Dreth misses with a hook. Snicket ducked under it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Snicket misses with a left hand
and Dreth counters with a huge left! Snicket is in big trouble! He's backing up but Dreth isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Snicket from any more damage. A dominating finish by Dreth!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Valen Dreth!
