Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Claudio Escorre (ranked 2701 p4p, 106 weight class) and Tyson James (ranked 972 p4p, 50 weight class). Escorre comes to the cage accompanied by Chico Science & Nação Zumbi - Da Lama Ao Caos. Tyson James will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Claudio Escorre! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyson James! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. James is looking for submissions but instead, Escorre has regained full guard.
James scores with a decent looking elbow strike. James wants to control from the top but Escorre keeps moving. James trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as James accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. James throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Escorre works some decent striking defense from the bottom. James preventing the sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Escorre is working hard here to advance position. James is looking to work some ground and pound but Escorre has wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. James wanted to stand there but Escorre had control of the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. James sitting in guard, not really doing much. Escorre avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. James wants to control from the top but Escorre keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from James. A looping hook to the body misses from Escorre. James does a little dance to reset his feet. Escorre ducks down and throws a hook to the body but James moves away. Claudio Escorre is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Escorre throws a nice looking combination but James bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. We've been told by Escorre's head coaches at UnderGround Wrestling and Jiu Jitsu that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Escorre throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Escorre takes a swing at James's ribcage but misses. Escorre throws a left and a right that both miss
and James counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Escorre! James wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Escorre, who protects the arm well. James tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no James has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! James taking a breather here. James swings around for an armbar but Escorre sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into James's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Escorre tries to stand but James is controlling from the bottom. Escorre slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. James seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Escorre wants to get up but he can't break James's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. James lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. James throws an elbow that misses. Escorre uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in James's guard. Nice move by Escorre! James is controlling Escorre's posture. James keeping moving, preventing Escorre from controlling successfully. Escorre being controlled here momentarily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. James has a closed guard, preventing Escorre from standing up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Claudio Escorre will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
James shoots in but no luck this time. Escorre appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Horrible takedown attempt by James or perhaps it was just good defense by Escorre, which made it look bad. James tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Escorre defends well and James ends up having to push Escorre into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. A quick step to the side and Escorre tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Claudio Escorre has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyson James. James avoids the body shot from Escorre.
James doesn't succeed with the takedown and Escorre counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from James. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Escorre lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Tyson James has been cut. Escorre is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that James can do to turn this around? James is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Escorre's half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. James trying to control the action but Escorre is working from the bottom. Escorre might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Escorre is pressing down on James's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. James prevents Escorre from getting back to his feet. James is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. James trying to control the position from guard on top but Escorre is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. James slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. James throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Escorre wants to stand but James is controlling the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. James looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Escorre! James is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Escorre is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The ground and pound from James seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. James is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Escorre knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

James scores with a couple of good hammerfists. James is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Escorre doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time James. James is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Escorre has managed to free his arm - good work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! James thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Escorre's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Claudio Escorre dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Tyson James's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
James shoots for a double leg takedown but Escorre sprawls well. He's pushed James's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Claudio Escorre is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Escorre throws a body punch but James moves out of range. Escorre throws a series of punches but James avoids them all with ease. James has his takedown stuffed and Escorre counters with a lovely shot to the body. James shoots in and drives through. Escorre sprawls well. Claudio Escorre has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyson James. Escorre just misses with a punch to the body.

James goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Escorre has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for James but great work by Escorre. James is trying to get back to half guard. James is trying to control Escorre's posture but Escorre avoids it. Escorre decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Escorre throws a series of punches but James avoids them all with ease. James tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. James shoots in for a takedown but Escorre shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Escorre swings for the body but James moves out of range.
James takes a shot to the body in his stride.
James has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Escorre looks to score with a jab to the body but James is just out of range. Nice sprawl there from Escorre as James shoots in. James tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Escorre swivels and escapes. James shoots for a takedown but Escorre saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. James shoots in for a takedown but Escorre shows good takedown defense. James throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Escorre's waist but Escorre gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing James off to one side.

James fails to land the takedown. James shoots for a takedown but Escorre saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. As James looks to move away, Escorre throws a big counter combo but James just gets out of the way. Escorre throws a right and a left that James avoids nicely. Escorre stuffs the takedown. Escorre misses with a few strikes there.
Escorre throws a body punch but James moves out of range. James shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Escorre as he avoids it easily. Escorre appears to be looking for a big counter. James takes a shot right to the bread basket. Tyson James has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. James uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Escorre.
James tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. James dives in for a single leg takedown but Escorre sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. James shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Escorre sprawls well. Escorre wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. James gets slowly back to his feet. It looked like Escorre was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. James takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Escorre falls off balance throwing a combination
and James counters with a single leg into guard. Escorre didn't expect that. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! James postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. James postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. James cracks Escorre with a solid left hand.
And that's the end of the fight! Claudio Escorre showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Escorre, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

I knew this fight would go to the ground and I had to do everything to stop it. It was a great challenge and I would like to thank everyone! Lu Bu is a great fighter and deserves all my respect for this fight! See you in the'. In defeat, Tyson James stepped up to the mic, saying 'When I am defeated, I stay humble. I was defeated by the better man today. I wish Fray the best in his future title defenses. I will return to the top and get that belt! '.
