Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Don Blow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Motu Te Tai!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Te Tai misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Te Tai tries to sprawl but Blow drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Blow decides to stand and escape the position.
Te Tai throws a head kick that Blow semi-blocks.
It looks like Don Blow has been cut.
Blow shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Te Tai manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Blow keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Te Tai has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Blow prevents Te Tai from breaking the clinch.
Blow drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Te Tai gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Blow escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Te Tai pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Te Tai throws a sloppy head kick and Blow moves out of range easily.
Blow swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Te Tai throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Blow sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and Blow counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Te Tai tries to kick Blow off but Blow keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Blow seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Te Tai tries to buck Blow off but Blow takes his back!
Blow has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Te Tai's body.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Te Tai wants to get back to his feet. He's half way up but Blow drags him back down with a jolt, managing to get his forearm deep under Te Tai 's chin! Te Tai is in real trouble! His face is turning bright red and he's forced to tap! This one is all over!
