Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vladimirs Voranovskis (ranked 2953 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malakei Martin (ranked 4992 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vladimirs Voranovskis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Malakei Martin! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Sandra Marshall and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martin closes the distance and clinches. Voranovskis is trying to push Martin away but Martin has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Martin looking to throw knees to the head but Voranovskis is blocking nicely.
Voranovskis prevents a body shot from Martin. Martin connects with a knee to the head.
Martin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Voranovskis closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Martin to the mat! Martin manages to get full guard. Voranovskis avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Voranovskis is working Martin over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Voranovskis preventing the sweep. Voranovskis tries to free his leg and advance position but Martin is retaining full guard. Martin keeping moving, preventing Voranovskis from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Voranovskis has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Martin is proving hard to escape from. Voranovskis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Martin swivels though and keeps the full guard. Voranovskis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Voranovskis pushes down on Martin's leg and manages to get into half guard. Well, if Voranovskis is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Voranovskis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Martin keeps working. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Martin won't allow Voranovskis to pass to mount. Martin tries to get to full guard but Voranovskis has control of the leg.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Voranovskis doesn't manage to clinch there - Martin circles away.
Martin looks to land a left hand but Voranovskis moved out of range nicely. Voranovskis tries for a takedown but Martin circles away easily and Martin counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Martin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Voranovskis keeping full guard, as Martin tries to pass. Martin trying to control but Voranovskis is working from the bottom. Martin might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Voranovskis haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Voranovskis controls Martin momentarily but Martin frees himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Martin controls from within his opponent's guard. Voranovskis striking from the bottom.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Martin trying to control but Voranovskis is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Voranovskis avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Martin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Martin swats away the attempt to clinch by Voranovskis. Martin throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Malakei Martin dominated that round. That's time! Voranovskis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Voranovskis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Martin pinned against the cage. Martin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Martin changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Voranovskis checks a leg kick nicely. Vladimirs Voranovskis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Voranovskis is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Martin's half guard. Voranovskis keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Martin wants to get back to full guard. The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Martin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Voranovskis, pushing him back against the cage. Martin on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Martin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Good leg kick by Martin there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Martin's guard. Martin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. That was a close second round but I would say that Vladimirs Voranovskis will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Voranovskis shoots in for a double leg but Martin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Martin feints and then cracks Voranovskis's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Voranovskis down. Martin clinches with his opponent.
Martin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Martin tries to sprawl but Voranovskis drives through with a takedown into half guard. Voranovskis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Martin keeps working. Martin tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Voranovskis wants to stand but Martin has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Voranovskis looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Martin actively working from the bottom here. Voranovskis sitting and controlling from the half guard. Martin trying to hold on to Voranovskis's head to control him but Voranovskis postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Martin lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Martin. A punch combination from Martin misses. Martin displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Voranovskis. Voranovskis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vladimirs Voranovskis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Martin tries a head kick but it misses.
Voranovskis looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Voranovskis fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Martin tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Voranovskis defends well and Martin ends up having to push Voranovskis into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Martin fails in his attempt to clinch.

Voranovskis tries to bum rush Martin with a series of wild strikes but Martin uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Voranovskis shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Martin sprawls well. Martin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Voranovskis gets slowly back to his feet. Martin looks like he wants to counter punch here. Martin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Voranovskis is working for takedown but Martin is calmly controlling the position for now. Martin lands a takedown into guard.
Voranovskis scrambles and gets back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Vladimirs Voranovskis showed his dominance in that final round. I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
