Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bee Jayjay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Wang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wang fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jayjay feints and as Wang raises his hands in defense, Jayjay changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Jayjay postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Wang is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jayjay, into his guard. Wang trying to control but Jayjay is working from the bottom. Wang working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Wang trying to control the position from guard on top but Jayjay is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wang tries to free his leg and advance position but Jayjay is retaining full guard. Wang must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jayjay looking for a guillotine here but Wang defends easily.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Wang gets a takedown into half guard. Wang seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Wang lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Wang looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Wang looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Wang! Jayjay is trying to improve his position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wang in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Jayjay tries to get back to half guard but can't. Jayjay manages to work his way to half guard, despite Wang's best efforts. Wang moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Jayjay. Jayjay is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Wang's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. It looks like Wang is going to stand back up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wang lands a big elbow. Jayjay is squirming around, avoiding Wang's attempts to control the action. Jayjay tries to get back to half guard but can't. Wang looking to control but Jayjay is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Jayjay can't escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Wang cracks Jayjay with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wang unloading with bombs! Wang thowing shots but they're missing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bee Jayjay dominated that second round. That's time! Jayjay's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Wang turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Wang throws a leg kick and Jayjay counters with a nice double leg into guard. Wang is looking to stand up but Jayjay isn't so interested in that idea. Jayjay drops back looking for a leg! Wang is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wang manages to kick Jayjay off! Jayjay jumps back into Wang's guard. Jayjay has gone for a leg lock! Wang slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jayjay's guard. Bee Jayjay overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wang pushes down on Jayjay's leg and manages to get into half guard. Jayjay looking for submissions off his back. Wang not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Jayjay regains full guard. Nicely done. Jayjay is looking for a triangle but Wang pushes his legs off easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jayjay working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Wang has passed into half guard!
Wang lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Wang passes to full mount! Wang tries to control but Jayjay wriggling away. Jayjay bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Jayjay drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Wang manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jayjay has Wang in his guard. Jayjay working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wang doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wang manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Jayjay wants to sweep here but Wang controlling him for the moment. Jayjay looking for subs off his back but Wang has passed one foot through into half guard.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bee Jayjay. I think Jayjay has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
