Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Peixoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henrique Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peixoto's entrance music is Nirvana - Breed. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Castro's choice of entrance music: Kreator - Hordes of Chaos. Henrique Castro has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Seu Braga and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castro throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Peixoto showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Castro.
Peixoto closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Castro connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Castro gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Castro is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Peixoto drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Peixoto jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Castro had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Peixoto is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Castro Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Peixoto's back instead.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Castro lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Peixoto fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Peixoto wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Peixoto uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Castro.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Peixoto, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
