Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brutus Chaos (ranked 4710 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haka Motu (ranked 3742 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaos throws a series of punches but Motu moves out of range.
Chaos's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Motu connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Chaos scrambles back to his feet.

Chaos uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Motu has time to react.
Motu misses with an uppercut.

Motu bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
