PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Micheal Deacino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Durrine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Micheal Deacino has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Micheal Deacino seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Durrine feints and as Deacino raises his hands in defense, Durrine changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Deacino utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Durrine trying to control the position from guard on top but Deacino is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Durrine drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Deacino manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Durrine has Deacino in his guard.

Durrine escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Deacino gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Durrine has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Deacino is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Durrine.
Durrine manages to work his way to half guard, despite Deacino's best efforts.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Durrine is trying to drag Deacino to the mat but Deacino just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Durrine tries to score a body lock takedown but Deacino shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Durrine drops down looking for an ankle pick but Deacino pulls his leg out and moves away.
