Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leland Huff (ranked 6302 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert Wasilkowsky (ranked 4154 p4p, 400 weight class). Albert Wasilkowsky will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Albert Wasilkowsky! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Winston Howard and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wasilkowsky throws a combination that misses and Huff counters with a single leg into guard. Wasilkowsky didn't expect that. Huff really is a fat lump. Huff content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Huff drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Huff jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Huff lands a couple of digs. Huff working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Huff postures up and lands a big shot to Wasilkowsky's brow. Wasilkowsky has momentary wrist control but Huff slips an elbow through the middle. Wasilkowsky wants to reverse the position here. Huff has hold of a leg though and he's dropped back looking for a kneebar! The fighters roll across the mat but Wasilkowsky is forced to tap! Wasilkowsky looks devastated but at least his leg points in the right direction.
