Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Iron Dong Pao (ranked 2719 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Poffo (ranked 3996 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Randy Poffo!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pao throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Poffo was covering up waiting for the punch and Pao finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Pao has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Poffo to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Pao is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Poffo pulls down on the head and he's put Pao to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Randy Poffo!
