Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Juan (ranked 6345 p4p, 565 weight class) and Jeroen Franken (ranked 3556 p4p, 413 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pablo Juan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jeroen Franken! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Juan throws a lazy right hand but Franken sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Franken throws a right and a left that Juan avoids nicely. Juan appears to be looking for a counter takedown. A punch combination from Franken misses. Juan throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Jeroen Franken has been cut. Jeroen Franken seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Franken wants to clinch. Franken connects with a right hand. Juan shakes it off. Juan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Juan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Franken tries to avoid it but Juan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Franken to the ground. Franken escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Franken is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Juan tries to counter with a takedown but Franken is quick to defend against it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Franken misses with a looping left. Franken moves in looking to clinch but Juan pushes him off. Juan waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Franken. Franken takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Juan moves forwards but Franken connects with a nice, crisp jab. Franken fails to land with a series of punches.
Juan appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Juan lands a high kick!
Franken pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Juan on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Franken. Franken obviously looking to wear him down.
Franken tries to close the distance and clinch up but Juan swats him away and circles back towards the center. and Juan counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Franken! He's just covering up as Juan starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pablo Juan! After the fight, Pablo Juan was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
