The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vega shoots in looking for a takedown but Cunningham manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Vega's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Cunningham staying out of range there.
Nice straight punches there by Cunningham . You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Cunningham .
Vega takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Cunningham ducks under a wild hook from Vega.
Cunningham misses with a right hand
letting Vega counter with a right hand.
Cunningham moves in looking to clinch but Vega pushes him off.
Cunningham takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Vega pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Cunningham tries a low kick but Vega avoids it.
Cunningham throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cunningham tries to score with a low kick but Vega moves his leg out of the way.
Vega thows a left - swing and a miss!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Donk. Cunningham catches Vega right on the button with a cross.
Cunningham throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Jab, jab by Cunningham - just one landing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cunningham misses with a body shot
and Vega counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cunningham bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Vega jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Cunningham drops Vega with a naaaaasty hook - Vega is in real trouble here! Cunningham dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
