Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lei King (ranked 4583 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mince Bony (ranked 4580 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Richard Clark and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A bone on bone clash there as King blocks the leg kick.
King throws a counter high kick but Bony was just alert enough to avoid it.
King leaves Bony with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
King feinted with a counter takedown.
Bony goes for a double leg but King avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as King continues to drive forward.
A combination from Bony does no damage.

King gets tackled into the cage by Bony . Bony maintains the clinch.
King gets underhooks to prevent Bony 's takedown attempt.
Lei King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mince Bony .
Bony has King pushed against the cage.
King tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bony just stands there and leans against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
King is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
King is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
King tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Bony fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but King avoids it really well and circles away.

King is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bony gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Bony jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as King walks away with a smile on his face. Bony gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Bony moves out of range as King throws a body kick.
Bony lands a straight punch to the body, keeping King at a distance.

King closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bony did well to prevent King getting side control.
Bony pushes King off but King dives into side control.
King wants to control but Bony is keeping him busy.
King is really struggling to control Bony but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Bony is trying to control King's posture but King avoids it.

Bony being controlled for a moment.
Bony defending against the ground and pound.
King has knee on belly and moves into mount.
King trying to control but he's not successful this time.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
King punching from mount but Bony doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Bony is working to get back to half guard.
Bony tries to hold on but King pushes him away.
King takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Bony really doesn't want to stay on the ground with King. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Poor strikes thrown by King there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bony wants to control but King is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lei King dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Bony counters with a series of strikes. King will be more careful next time no doubt.

King throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bony doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
No luck with that takedown attempt from King.
King really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
King shoots for a double leg takedown but Bony sprawls well. He's pushed King's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lei King. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bony stuffs the takedown.
A countering left hand to the body from Bony misses.
Bony swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

King slaps away a takedown attempt from Bony , before circling back to the center of the mat.
King darts in looking for a takedown but Bony gets double underhooks and turns King into the cage.

Bony defends well against a solid takedown attempt from King.
Bony misses with a head kick.
Bony shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
King moves out of range as Bony throws a body kick.
King is looking to clinch but Bony is avoiding it.
King shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bony as he jumps to the side.
Bony steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from King.

King is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bony 's half guard.

Bony pushes King off and gets back to his feet.

King throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
King throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Bony counters with a three punch combo that has King backing up. King nods at Bony to acknowledge the strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bony has a takedown stuffed.
Bony is breathing heavily.
Bony shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with King but King pushes him off and we're back to square one.

King looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
King thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bony 's head.
King keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
King tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

King stalling.
Bony trying to control from the bottom.
Bony blocking the ground and pound attempt from King.
King performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
King fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
King goes for a double leg but Bony avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bony continues to drive forward.
Bony avoids the head kick by King.
Bony misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

King tries to keep at a distance but Bony has taken the fight into the clinch.

Bony jumps guard.
Lei King overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
King with a flurry of punches that miss.
King seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Mince Bony showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Bony shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. King defends it nicely.

King fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bony sprawls well initially but King persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

King is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bony doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time King.

King seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Bony is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
