Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lorenzo Young (ranked 6207 p4p, 550 weight class) and Rafael Jimene (ranked 24111 p4p, 639 weight class). Jimene has chosen Lokutor - Constante Duelo as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young drives through with a takedown into Jimene's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Young wants to control from the top but Jimene keeps moving.
Young has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Jimene pulls Young in close to his closed guard and prevents Young from doing any damage or advancing position.
Jimene tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Young is looking to work some ground and pound but Jimene has wrist control.
Young knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jimene on the ground.

Young sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Young avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Young content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Young will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Jimene is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Young frees his head nicely. Oh but Jimene has switched to an armbar! Young is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
