The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingston throws a combination that misses
and Briggs counters with a stiff right hand.
Briggs lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Bobby Kingston has been cut.
Briggs dips to his left and cracks Kingston with an uppercut!
Kingston throws a right and a left that Briggs avoids nicely.
Kingston takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Kingston tries to clinch up but Briggs circles away and keeps his distance.

Briggs throws out a loose jab but Kingston uses good head movement to avoid it.
Briggs avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Kingston is breathing heavily.
Kingston misses with a right hand
and Briggs counters with a left and a right that stings Kingston.
Briggs should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Kingston's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Briggs connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kingston scrambles back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nice straight punches there by Briggs. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Briggs.
Briggs takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Kingston is rocked!
Bobby Kingston's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Briggs might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bobby Kingston's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
