Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Antoine Boronni (ranked 5525 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ayuh Maju (ranked 2968 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maju throws a hook to the side of Boronni's head but Boronni sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Maju looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Boronni closes the distance and pushes Maju back into the cage.
Boronni pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Maju thows a left - swing and a miss!
Boronni misses with a takedown
and Maju counters with a left to the body.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Boronni.
Boronni bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Boronni tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Boronni has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Boronni tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Maju wants to control but Boronni postures up.
Boronni looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Maju is avoiding damage well.
Boronni wants to lay and pray for a moment but Maju keeps working.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Maju really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boronni. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Boronni postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boronni thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Maju is trying to control Boronni's posture but Boronni avoids it.
Boronni wants to lay and pray for a moment but Maju keeps working.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Maju tries to buck Boronni off but Boronni is having none of it.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Antoine Boronni dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Maju leaves Boronni with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Boronni shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Maju as he avoids it easily.
Boronni will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Antoine Boronni overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Maju looks like he's trying to stand up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Boronni slips a jab from Maju.
Boronni half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Boronni avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Maju connects with a looping right hand.
Maju connects with a body shot that sends Boronni's belly button to the back.
Boronni fails to land the takedown.

Ayuh Maju is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Maju cracks Boronni with a hook to the temple - Boronni is on wobbly legs here! Maju swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Boronni falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Maju wins by TKO!
